Back to the Confessional

I would like to take this opportunity to plug the fantastic recent album release by Dashboard Confessional, Alter the Ending.  Whether you are a Chris Carrabba fan or hater, there’s a new maturity in this album that previous DC efforts have lacked.  Alter the Ending was produced by song writer genius, Butch Walker, and it comes out in every ounce of the production.  Another amazing bonus is that the entire album was recorded acoustically in addition to the full rocked out version.  I would definitely check it out, and I think you’ll be hooked with the first song, Get Me Right, as the chorus and bridge pulls you in with the honest and piercing lyrics:
Oh Jesus, I’ve fallen
I don’t mind the rain if
I meet my maker…
I’ll meet my maker clean
But Jesus, the truth is
I struggle so hard to believe
I’ll meet my maker…

To cure me of my doubting blood
